To my followers

Thank you for staying, reading and listening! It is not a burden to try and keep you entertained, I’m having a lot of fun sharing all this great music with you.

Happy Birthday to me

For my 28th Birthday I booked myself a little trip to London and a ticket to go see Terry Reid at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club. I had been counting down the minutes, then finally at about 10:30 PM I was sitting right in front of the stage, just one meter away from where he would be standing. At 11:15 the band got on and started playing ‘The Frame’, then finally Terry came out in this horrible red suit. He sang whatever song he felt like singing, and he was funny too. I just had the biggest smile on my face, especially when he played my favorite song: ‘Seed of Memory’. We weren’t allowed to film in the venue, but is sounded something like this:

I couldn’t believe I was seeing my favorite singer perform, on my birthday! Then the show was over, way too soon, and he just got off the stage and people ambushed him. Then I thought to myself: let’s try this. So I went over there, waited a while, and then I got to shake his hand and tell Mr. Reid that he was my favorite singer and to thank him for this great performance on my birthday. He thanked me for my kind words and gave me three kisses, before having our picture taken. He was kinda creepy and old and drunk, but hey, he’s still a bloody legend! What a night… How lucky am I?!

For those of you who still haven’t listened to his music, brace yourselves:
