Dave Bartholomew wrote it, but Smiley Lewis was the first to record it in 1955.
So many artists have covered this song, among them the great Fats Domino. I ain’t never seen anyone have this much fun playing the piano and performing…
But the most known cover is this rockin’ version by Dave Edmunds.
